Savitribai Phule Pune University (formally University of Pune) today (Date-7th January 2021 ) issued a Circular No. 06/2021 which supersession the Circular No. 03/2021.
As per the Circular No. 3/2021 SPPU directed all the colleges to conduct theory and practical classes in offline mode. All the non-professional & professional UG Programs (BA/BCom/BSc/otheers), PG Programs (MA/ MCom/ MSc/ others) , M.Phil / PhD Programs shall begin from 11th January 2021.
But as expected, Savitribai Phule Pune University has cancelled its decision to reopen departments, colleges and institutions on 11th January 2021. SPPU has said in the Circular No. 06/2021 that ‘Date of reopening of University departments and colleges / institutions will be notified in due course of time as per the directives of the state government’.
The circular signed by Deputy Registrar, gave several reasons for this decision including safety and health of all concerned.
